Title:  Product Design Engineer

Location: Wilmington, MA

Duration: Direct Hire                

• Designer/Engineer responsible for new product design, and cost reduction of existing products.
• Applicant should have at least an ASME degree, or a minimum of five years experience in sheet metal product design.   
• Minimum software experience includes: AutoDesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Excel, MS Word
• Desirable (but not mandatory), additional experience includes: GLOVIA, Photopia, and AGI32 software.
• The position does not require rigorous Engineering Analysis, but it does require practical mechanical ingenuity. 
• Must have working knowledge of sheet metal design and construction. 
• The position requires a close working relationship with Manufacturing Engineering. 
• The position requires the production of all product documentation including part drawings, computer Bills of Materials, Photometry Tests, Heat Tests, and UL compliance.
