We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills who can work on proposal teams to win new business and work as a project manager for new product. This is a position that requires creativity and the ability to sell your ideas internally and to customers.

 In this highly visible position in our Engineering department you will be:

• Working directly with customers to match their needs with many cooling/manufacturing technologies
• Managing integrated product teams in the design and fabrication of new products
• Writing detailed proposals for our military customers
• Preparing project schedules and conducting recurring meetings of new product teams
• Assisting Production Engineering in the transition of new products to Production Product status.
• Reviewing drawing packages (tolerance analysis)
• Generating and updating assembly documentation (MRP routings / process sheets)
• Processing engineering change notices (ECN`s)
• Controlling manufacturing costs by employing creative manufacturing & assembly methods (fixture design)
• Developing cost estimates for new product quotations.

Minimum requirements: 

• 7+ years in manufacturing engineering with direct experience in the area of sheet metal fabrication (aluminum and stainless steel) and/or TIG welded assemblies.
• A BS degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Experience with CAD, MRP software, military specifications and ISO 9001 is also important.
