Location: Waltham, MA

Duration: Temp to Perm                                                     

This individual will be responsible for supporting build, test, and characterization activities of an electro-mechanical medical device and assist in development of the next generation product. 

Primary responsibilities will be to:

• Build and debug prototype electro-mechanical assemblies.

• Contribute to the development of and execution of system assembly procedures.

• Execute assigned test plans, documenting results, providing analysis and reports as directed.

• Generate documentation in support of design control requirements for pilot production.

• Organize and monitor parts inventory.

 Education & Experience Requirements:

• Associate's degree in electronics preferred

• Strong computer skills, MS Word and Excel minimum.

• 5+ years experience working in a small company, product development environment.

• Experience with typical engineering tools and electronic test equipment.

• Experience with debugging and characterization methods for electromechanical instrumentation.

• Experience working with ISO or Medical QSR regulations.

• Experience with electromagnetic energy devices (Ultrasound, RF, Microwave) highly desirable.

• Experience with LabView helpful.
