Location:                 Littleton, MA

Duration:                 2-4 months

 

Responsibilities:

Work closely with engineering and be responsible for designing treatment room components including (but not limited to) covers for the exposed gantry and the rear treatment room walls with integrated benches.

Must take into consideration all human factors, ergonomics and interaction as part of the design.

Using SolidWorks, will be responsible for creating parts, assemblies and drawings in accordance with internal standards.

Responsible for providing conceptual drawings and sketches for design review.

Responsible for managing the procurement and assembling of prototypes.

Work with our purchasing department and communicate with potential suppliers to ultimately make recommendations.

Work with Marketing to ensure the final design of the components will result in a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing environment.

Must have excellent communication and presentation skills. 

Qualifications:

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design

5 years experience designing similar components. Medical industry preferred

Minimun of 2 years using SolidWorks
