SUMMARY:

The Mechanical Designer is responsible for developing and documenting new product designs, as well as improving existing designs to meet the needs of our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has responsibility for:

• Design major mechanical assemblies, and components for robotic surgical systems

• Design and develop major product subsystems

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 7 years experience designing commercial mechanical products.

• Injection molding and plastics design experience

• Medical product experience in the fields of robotics and/or surgical instrumentation is highly desired.

• Experience in a start-up environment is highly desired.

• Proficiency with SolidWorks
